God has called Redwood Community Church to dream big and to immerse ourselves in Him, by creating environments that would help lead people to God. We’ve asked God to show us how we can have the greatest impact as we prepare to launch into this next season of ministry. The Wood: Community ReCreation Center is our answer to God’s call. Through The Wood Project, we will join together with the body of Christ to create a space to facilitate transformation spiritually, mentally, and physically throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. We are trusting God to move through His people to donate $20 million in the mission of Redwood Community Church with 100% engagement.

What exactly will the $20 million do?

 

Your generosity into  The Wood Project will make the following next critical steps possible. The $20 million goal includes our operating budget for the first two years, with the funding we need for a facility, staffing, and the systems to create environments that lead people to God. Additionally, we will be able to extend God’s love through community engagement and outreach to the people and communities we serve. A facility will allow us to establish and expand our influence as a place of transformation especially in Illinois' south suburban villages of Lansing, Calumet City, Lynwood, and beyond, to reach multi-generations for Christ. This space will be a home to Redwood Community Church and various strategic partners, and will include a state of the art auditorium, offices, class rooms, community gathering spaces, group meeting spaces, indoor kids play place, indoor walking space, a café, space for weddings and memorial services, and more.

THERE ARE FOUR SPECIFIC STEPS THAT WE ASK YOU TO TAKE:

1). PRAY FERVENTLY - Pray that God would multiply our efforts to create environments that lead people to God, helping them be transformed into the image of Christ. Pray that He would do abundantly more than we ask or imagine in Jesus great name.

 

2). COMMIT FULLY - Help us reach our goal of 100% engagement in The Kingdom Initiative. Stand side by side with the body of Christ. Commit to do what God asks.

 

3). GIVE GENEROUSLY - Sign up for recurring monthly donations of at least $30 over the next 24 months. Then take the the necessary steps required to see it through. 

 

4). CHAMPION LOUDLY - Own The Kingdom Initiative vision and become an ambassador for it within your spheres of influence.
